Jennifer Smith, FPQP®

Client Care Coordinator

Jennifer is the Client Care Coordinator for all of our clients. Jen is responsible for keeping open lines of communication between clients and planners, coordinating appointments and gathering information to make sessions run as smoothly as possible. 

In her past role as the Operations Manager at a small law firm specializing in asbestos litigation, Jen was responsible for communicating with clients, families and defense attorneys. That job took a lot of compassion, attention to detail, and problem solving, all traits that she now uses to help our clients. Before working at the law firm Jennifer worked with Alzheimer's clients and assisted mentally disabled adults in finding work. Jennifer’s passion is helping people and forming relationships, which is why we were so happy to have her as part of the Gather Financial® Planning team.

Since joining our team, Jennifer has deepened her knowledge of the financial planning process and earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation.

Jen is a Massachusetts native who always dreamed of living in the beautiful state of Maine. In July of 2020 she was lucky enough to make that dream a reality. Jen lives in Bangor with her two amazing teenage children, her fiancé, and a sixteen year old turtle named E.T.  The whole family is enjoying Maine and living "The Way Life Should Be".  When she isn't in the office you can find Jen spending time with her family, cooking, playing board games, hiking, painting and watching old movies.
