Mary Holmes, CFP®, serves as Lead Planner, bringing to Gather Financial® Planning more than 13 years of experience as a financial advisor, in addition to extensive business experience. Mary truly enjoys using her expertise to provide personalized, comprehensive planning, working alongside her clients to customize solutions that empower them to use money to support their unique life plan. Mary knows that putting together the pieces of a client’s puzzle is not a one-size-fits-all process. She fully endorses Gather Financial® Planning’s methodology, which gives her the flexibility to get to know her clients and understand their stories, concerns and needs, so she can help make their finances work for them based on their goals. Each client’s individualized plan includes details only a seasoned professional can provide. Mary formerly used her talents as a financial advisor at Northeast Financial Services and then as a founding partner of Casco Bay Wealth Advisors, obtaining the wide range of knowledge, licensing and credentials required for success. In 2016, Mary sold her partnership in Casco Bay Wealth Advisors and went on to start, successfully develop, and recently sell a professional move management business. The company provides assistance with downsizing, moving and home clean-outs for seniors and their families, reflecting Mary’s ability to assist others wherever they are in their life journey. She has also worked in finance and process-improvement positions in corporate settings. Mary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from Castleton University in Vermont, graduating summa cum laude. In her free time, Mary enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and son, from snow skiing and kayaking to bicycling and hiking. She belongs to a book club and two movie clubs and also likes to volunteer whenever possible.
